Learning to play pop chord charts can be a fun way to work on music theory concepts like key signatures & chord structures.
Playing pop songs (of their choice) can be a great way to foster a love of music in kids.
Chord charts leave a lot of space to foster creativity in students. They can decide chord voicings and accompaniment patterns that sound good to their ears.
